Welcome to East Coast Noise, a blog about East Coast music.

This site has been an idea floating around in the back of my head for a while, but it’s only now coming to life. The goal of the site is to basically be a one-stop-shop for news and notes on East Coast music of all genres.

My hope is that word will spread and that bands, record labels and fans from all over New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland take it upon themselves to send me information (press releases, etc.) to post here on the site. As much as I can, I’ll provide original content such as interviews and features with bands. Because this is really just a hobby, I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to do yet. The goal is at least an update or two a week with news about what East Coast bands are up to - album releases, tours, etc.

I won’t be providing show dates (at least not yet), but the links section here should provide you with a multitude of other music sites where you’ll find even more information on your favourite local artists.
There’s a ton of music on the East Coast of Canada and I feel more people should be aware of what’s going on right in their own back yard.

The site is a work in progress, so you’re likely to see change from time to time.
