I started to write this in the third-person, but it’s a real pain in the ass.
I (Eric Lewis) am a longtime music fan in Riverview, New Brunswick, and a few years ago I discovered I enjoyed writing as well. I’m currently a reporter with a daily newspaper in Moncton, N.B., writing about all sorts of different things, but my real passion is writing about music, and this is where this site comes in.
East Coast Noise is a website devoted to East Coast music. There’s tons of it out there to discover, and unfortunately many people in these parts aren’t even aware of the bands playing right in their own backyard. Some you’ll like, some you may not – but you’ll never know if you don’t look around. If you’re in a band or you represent a band, record label, coalition or anything of that sort and would like you share news with the site, please send all news items and press releases to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Other interests of mine include pro wrestling, books, playing guitar, hanging out with my friends and running around with my cats. I think George Carlin (R.I.P.) is the greatest comedian ever, Steve Earle is the greatest songwriter ever and KISS is, above all, my favourite band. I love everything from Black Sabbath to Lisa Loeb, The Sounds to Dwight Yoakam. I live in Riverview with my girlfriend Shelley and two cats, Ace and Willow.
